Destruction, Devastation & Dogs
At 2am on November 3rd 2024 Dirt Road Dogs, Choctaw location was hit by an EF3 Tornado. With less than a minutes’ warning before chaos descended we experienced many in Oklahoma’s worst nightmare for ourselves. Once the storm had passed we took stock of the damage and realized it was insurmountable. Miraculously all humans and dogs were spared. Unfortunately we lost everything else. Our home, our belongings and our ability to operate the business. We had to close our doors temporarily.
Thankfully we already had our new location in Harrah semi-established so we did not have to start from scratch. With this major blow to our day to day operations we are currently not accepting new daycare or standard boarding clients. Existing clients and board + train clients are welcome to contact us to schedule your next visit. We are operating at around 50% of our normal capacity as we finish construction and final details at our new location. We anticipate being open fully after the start of the New Year.
