We have two temperature regulated Bunkhouses that all the pups rest in during break and sleep times. Each dog gets its own suite, a Kuranda dog bed and plenty of cozy blankets to snuggle on. Suites vary by size with the largest being 3’ x 6’. Dogs’ of the same household that can eat + sleep together receive a discount each day.

All dogs must be at least 4 months of age to join playgroup, dogs must pass a temperament test and be up to date on these three vaccinations: Rabies (valid from 1-3 years), DHPP (valid from 1-3 years), Bordetella (valid up to 1 year). We do not at this time require Canine Influenza vaccine due to reported limited availability in our area but if your vet carriers it we highly encourage your dog receive it. We also ask that your pup is up to date on their flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. All dogs are checked at intake and any dog presenting with bugs or parasites will be treated at owner’s expense.
All dogs are required to pass a temperament screening in order to facilitate a cohesive, safe play group. Temperament screenings need to be scheduled prior to coming to camp.

Great question!
The answer is not so simple unfortunately. At this time we do accept unfixed male dogs on the condition they pass our temperament screen, are not aggressive towards other male dogs and are not sexually dominant during play. We do not allow excessive humping, your dog must be able to disengage easily and redirect.
We do not allow females to come to camp while in heat.
Females that are unfixed and over the age of sexual maturity will not be allowed to join playgroup with unfixed male dogs to avoid the potential of silent heat couplings.
If your unfixed female comes into heat while with us a $20/day charge will be added to your bill to accommodate the additional daily cleaning and sanitizing of kennel and bedding. As well as provide compensation for the increase in care that will require a dog in heat. They will need to be on a strict 1:1 watch while outside of their kennel.

We will keep you updated if your dog becomes sick or injured. We will coordinate with you if we feel it is in their best interest to be seen by a vet and will take them to your vet on file for local campers.

Our kennel team is happy to administer medications to your fur child. Your pup’s health and safety are our top priority so medications should be clearly labeled with the dosage, when and how often it should be given, and what it is for.

Our entire 9 acres of land is fenced in. Dogs enter through two levels of fencing before entering camp. The entire 1.5 acre play yard is fully fenced in with 6’ chain-link fencing. Dogs wear camp collars with our name and phone number on them at all times. We do daily perimeter checks to ensure the perimeter is secure at all times. If your dog is known attempted or successful escape artist we need to know beforehand.
-
If your dog is sick with any communicable disease or parasites they cannot come to camp for the safety and well being of the other campers . Please email our office team if you have any questions.

We advise you to book as far out as possible as we have limited capacity for boarding. Weekends and holidays fill fast so the sooner you reserve a spot the more likely we are to accomodate.

We know how hard it can be when you have a reactive or dog selective dog. Due to the nature of our business model we require all dogs pass a temperament test before they are cleared for playgroup. We have a limit on space and availability so we want our clients to be comfortable and confident that their dogs will be safe in our care and know that the dogs they are playing with are balanced and cleared for group interaction.
If your dog does not pass the temperament test or you know they need to be on their own we can still board your dog. They will get a more traditional boarding experience going outside 4x a day for 15 mins to play and potty. You may purchase additional time outside, activities or training time so your dog gets a more enriching experience. We do not accept human aggressive or “No-Contact” boardings.
See our Rates Page for more info on pricing for solo groups. -
